Picked up a 4" mono for cheap a couple weeks ago. It was all by itself, so I just had to. Fast forward to today and I picked up 3 intermedia and 2 orinos from Ray's Tank, a superb rare/monster fish store in Colorado. The intermedia are about 2 inches, so they're not very colorful, but the orinos are about 3 inches and look like they have a lot of potential. One already is looking like it's going to be a stunner. I forgot to ask if they knew the collection location.

And one of the fish must have had ich. I didn't have the temperature high enough. Been having a rash of heaters going bad lately. Bumping the temp to 87, maybe a little more, hoping that and salt will take care of it.

Only bass that's left now is an orino. Covered in ich, so I'm not expecting it to last long, either. Also took out a flagtail and Xingu I pike.

Added salt and bumped to 87 over a period of time, no carbon. I didn't think I would lose this many fish.

The last one is still hanging around. Hope at least 1 makes it. I want to get more, but I'm not sure which fish I got brought it in and I want to make sure it's all gone before I add more. How long do I need to wait before I see no more trophonts? We use formalin in hatcheries, but I'm not sure I want to go that route. At this point, I'm just going to keep the temp up as the worst should be over.
