if you planning to take lots of pics, go overboard, you can always switch them off, there are 2 individual switches on most of this type of setups. Make sure it's not just FL, but compact FL, like the coralife or a JBJ.

Well, I think I'm going to go with the 4x system. I may actually go for the Formosa system though. Pet Soltuions has it for $300, plus I really like the fact that it can stay on the tank for cleaning with the 90 degree flip. This is going to be a tough one

I was looking at the Zoo Med light tube and found that they have a few different types. Anyone here tried their tubes before?

I picked up the Aqualite 4x65 today, and man is it bright! Its adding more light to the room as well! I'm going to mess with my cam and see how my pix turn out.

He He......these lights aren't just for photography. They work great for the heavily planted tank, as well.
