First of all, thank you guys for all the input!
Here's some information about what we want to do with the pond. We currently have a 2 foot paroon shark and a 1 foot pig-nosed turtle. We want to add in 6 australian jardini arowanas and hope to grow these out first in a 75 gallon aquarium for around 6 months. We're planning to get ones that are around 3-4 inches next month. After this period, we will add them into the pond with the shark and the turtle, given that they are of similar sizes. If not, we could keep them in the tanks for a bit longer. We learned that although the jardinis are aggressive, they become more docile in groups of 6 and above. The measurement of the pond we're thinking of is 9x4x4 feet, rounding out to a bit over 1,000 gallons. We also recently purchased a 2-inch giant snakehead but we're still deciding if we should keep it or give it away. We'd appreciate any and all advice you could offer. We've contacted a couple of aquarists and have accumulated that this combination of fish and pond size is sufficient. Can we have your thoughts?
