It will definitely have to be some high test stuff. Just pulling this trap today I realized how heavy it was lol
wait till its water logged then see how heavy it is :D
50-100lb test should work,or double or triple it :D

Well I went out and checked my trap. It has been sitting for 2 days or so. Not good. When I pulled it there was nothing in the trap. Also something that couldnt fit into the opening wanted into the trap bad. It ripped the screen off the back to get inside. Ate all teh squash i had in there. Tore up the screen pretty good too. Probably a turtle.

sounds like you need a bigger trap :D
i used metal screen on mine :naughty:

Well it didnt cost me anything to make so its not a big loss. I was just working with what I had. I might just have to go get some metal screen and give it another go.

Before I put it back out though I will have to find a new location to put the trap in. I did however find a list of all of georgia freshwater fish.

http://www.nanfa.org/NANFAregions/ga/ga_fw_fishes.htm

havent had a chance yet to look at everything since the list is huge. Anything in there that stands out for being in an aquarium?
