i live in tn. and use to have a 5in large mouth bass i caught. for bait i would cut up little hot dogs and put garlic on them trust me anything in the water loves them. i took my trap out behind my house, let it sat for 1 night and had over 100 minnows for my bass the next morning. try it out it wont fail you
