Yes, it was a nice year because of him. He had to be moved 3-4 times after I got him, including one trip from east coast to West coast. He did well, I wonder how big he will get now.

Took this in sunlight today (I hate my aquarium light, it has too much blue in it).
That's perfectly natural for kamfas to look this way. Kamfas tend to get much a taller/boxier body style then most other FH's. Which in turn gives their body a shorter appearance since it's body won't taper towards the back end like other FH's do.
Seems on shorter side.
I think he falls between tapered and boxy, probably because he is F3, I think he is still slightly shorter than typical F3 but not a short body.

Haven't updated for a while, he has grown so much in last few years, interestingly he doesn't have bald patch anymore, it's covered in pearls
I was way behind on water changes when I had a baby, so flowerhorn had some health issues
