My inexpensive drip system

The emitters I bought are actualy rated for 25-55 psi. My tap is at 40. So they are perfect, I went with 1gph , but was tempted to do 2gph.....

I would recomend that you add a regulator and bring the pressure down around 25psi.... remember that the local water companys are known to have pressure surges..

My water is not pumped in. It is steady at 40. I am off of a well that is pumped into towers. Thus steady WP at all times. Is does drop when testing hydrants, but never goes above 40.

keep an eye one it. I think Repair had an emitter that the end popped off of. Could have been a manufacturing flaw, but you never know. If you can get pix please do! i'm interested in seeing your method. Maybe I can improve mine.

I am almost thinking of just rigging this extra bypass for the ro/di and using it's valve to regulate the flow instead of a drip emitter.

I'll get pics, but it will be a few weeks untill this is set-up on the display tank. For now I will be running it on my sump to decide the best way to set ti up.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of using a needle valve instead of a drip emitter. There is one on this page, it's the valve for $7. Seems like it would be more reliable, and will work at any pressure.

I wish I had the patience to try something like that...I would probably ruin all my tanks and the plumbing too!
