Here is another photo. This is a RT. you can see some red on his dorsal fin as well as some on his body.

How positive are you on this? I can assure they use SRT to make Kamfa...but Kamfa to make SRT?...LOL? If your talking about these stocky SRT with wrap fins and all...done with a high class KKP or mammon. If your saying they use a kamfa to make SRT...can you elaborate more on this? I'm not convinced at all...

not to be tanked the wrong way cuz i dont have much irl exp with RT or SRT its just seems that theres more then just texas/kkp or midas in SRT

There's no Kamfa in it as well. Some SRT with wrap tails and monstrous head are line bred to what their potential grows out to be.

I disagree unless you bred the fish you wouldn't know. The last image posted tells me there is synspilum in its blood which would make it kamfa by my flowerhorn standards. You can tell by the shape of the fish and it probably helped with the red coloration too.

Exactly.

It boggles my mind how anyone can be 100% certain as to what was used in the creation of a hybrid fish, unless as Cam stated they bred the fish themselves. I've seen genetics buried for numerous generations, to only later express themselves in a few of the offspring from the same parents. Happens all the time when hybrid genes are involved. Either way, damn nice fish.
