Done and it works great. When I fed them afterwards the flow from the spraybar pushed the food down the front glass and rolled it back towards the back glass where the intake is so its a nice circular water flow. :)

I also made an intake. I had to trim the tip of the PVC pipe so I the FX5 intake strainer would fit.

So everything to make one of these is 1" then? I made my own thread about this but it sucks for me because I dont have too much room behind my tank and I have a 3d background... hmm..

actually.. this might be an opportune time to do something with the 210, seeing as one of the FX5's is broken and i'm going to have to take the hoses down anyway to clean them out..

All the PVC plumbing parts are 3/4" pvc. The vinyl tubing is 1" ID.

The third picture down on the first post... What exactly are the pieces used there?
That is a 3/4" street 90 (what you connect the vinyl tubing to) connected to a small piece of 3/4" pvc connected to a regular 3/4" 90 connected to another small peice of 3/4" pvc which hangs over the side the tank (and is glued together) and that connects to another 90 degree elbow and the spray bar itself and the end cap (I did not glue these for maintenance reasons). You can see all of it assembled together in I believe the fifth or six picture down in my first post.

Ohhh that makes sense. A 1" ID would go onto a 1" outside diameter making the pipe 3/4".

It looks that the spray bar is 2-3" into the tank opposed to the 6" of the stock return, is this correct?

How about if I made a vertical spray bar in the corner? Would that work? Just stand it up in the back right corner?
