Mine is a little over 2 years old. Both the male and female were caught together. They are from Costa Rica. I also have a pair of Costa Rican Golds that are still small and young.

My male is 18" and the female 13".

Thanks guys!!! It's a 210gal. No decor. Big man doesn't like anything in his tank!!! My buddy had a really pot in there for the female but the male some how moved and broke a big piece off!! Didn't want him to cut himself so he took it out and put the pvc in there.
