Thanks for the input, I had trouble getting going on the other tank whilst it was cycling, the thing I've found with this filter is once you get it going because you can lock the valves and remove the filter once it primed it's primed as the pipework section comes off.looking great... little tip, i always suck the water through the intake from the output piping to get my canister going. Works like a charm, however your circumstances may have been a little different. Good luck with everything!

I know but I hate 'that' look, personal taste I guess, all my other tanks are see through, plus when I add another ton of plants you'll never notice.Nice setup. I like the stand choice.
