It's a 1700 series delta shower body it have a temp guard built in and a temperature lever aswell as a volume lever so in other words one lever will moderate the amount of water and the obtuse will moderate the temp .. then inside it has a plastic ring that u set like a dial ti the temp range u want ... Hope that helps ...

sent with love from the bottom of my tank !!!

I know this may sound like a stupid question.... but is there a minimum distance off the floor that a tank should be or is it just a matter of the sump being below the main tank (in terms of water movement)?

Welcome to MFK!!!! :welcome:

There is no minimum, the tank just needs to be above the sump in order for the gravity principle to work.

Agree with JK47, adding that the sump can be next to the display tank as well if you'd want to, with the water-level slightly below that of the main tank.
It's more a matter of space and layout. You'd typically want the Display tank at your eye-level. So if you're basketball player size, you'd get a higher stand I'd guess. As for sump, if you are putting a sump in, then you'll be limited in the sense that your sump needs adequate space, so you can't go too low with your display tank if the sump is under it.

^^^^^ Love this tank! That's a huge Aro you have there and all that drift wood looks great. I also like the plants growing out the top. Do you have a lid on that tank? If not how do you keep the Aro from jumping?
