subscribed, and your tank is definitly going to look better than mine does lol
However, I want to add that liquid CO2 (mainly excel) is not a replacement for actual injection, especially I feel in a 60 gallon. Excel is a different source of carbon, and while better than nothing, is still not as good as actual injection of co2. I beleive it is a glutameraldeydechemicalthingie. Yah...that was descriptive/informative on my part lol. Also, some plants I hear can be a little sensitive to excel, and the chemicals in excel are also used as disinfectants. I know many people who dose excel in a particular way to allow them to kill BBA and the like, so I like to keep that in mind when I dose it into a tank where I generally want things to live.
Anyways, if you plan on EI dosing then CO2 is needed, and on a 60 gallon DIY co2 is kind of more or less silly. I guess you could try to do a paintball tank thing but even on my 75 I plan on just going all out, I mean if you sell clippings and such then I guess it pays over time right?
