Just another question, I understand they're pretty toxic, I guess that means keep them away from plant eating fish like uaru??

As long as you got a decent amount, Atleast half, your good! When I first started my pothos I only trimmed one of the two plants, the one I trimmed grows about 25-30% better, but eventually it will catch up, just has to re-establish the roots. You will see your plant explode in growth!

Pics please!?

From my research I have never heard of any circumstance where a fish died from eating pothos, however that doesn't mean that it won't cause any harm, animals like cats and dogs can be harmed by pothos if ingested. Let me ask around and I will pm you tomorrow afternoon.

My piranhas have nibbled at the roots and even a couple leaves, their all still doing wonderful!

Haha great pictures and love the hanging roots! However for a 220gallon tank nitrate reduction will need Atleast 2-3 plants to see significant drops, you can do 3 across the top without spreading the plants, leave them as whole! The roots will really give it a natural look! IME each plant reduces n03 around 5-15ppm, but there's a lot of factors that contribute to reduction! As long as they grow they are consuming n03!

Good job, all in a days work
