Well a little change. Decided I would put my plant right into the tank. A zip tie and easy done. I honestly think the fish might eat it so who knows what will happen. But I wanted the room in my sump back and plan some larger filter socks. As you can see in two months my plant went from no roots to tons. Still not sold on plants but I got them in two tank and they are not taking up anything from me so why not. If the fish eat this one I think I'll call it good for. If it grows I'll just let it go from here.

Crazy fish lol! Try a soap holder from Walmart, already has suction cups and all!

Yeah they get a little crazy cause their still adjusting to actually having room too swim. I used a air line holder that I found in a bin of fish supplies I got.

Looks good to me and sweet tank, huge! Plants can be decorations or functional, personally I like the nitrate reduction aspect, If it didn't reduce n03 id likely have no interest in pothos.

Well I think my clown loaches are starting to eat the roots a bit, I have seen them nibbling, we will see if they are going to eat a bunch or not.

So pothos is harmful to mammals but only in large amounts. that could be a bad thing. My cat wont stay out of my sump. I have several water dishes for the darn thing but apparently sump water tastes better. Anybody own pothos and a cat and have a problem? My dogs stay out of my sump so I'm sure theyll be fine.

I wouldn't risk it, can you put the pothos on top of the tank, maybe behind the overflow?
