Morbidly fascinated would be more like it. I've seen Max put other fish in their place like this before so I had a pretty good idea of just how far he'd take it, so I wasn't overly worried. All of that only took about two seconds.

The occasionally get fillets or freeze dried krill for treats, but everyone seems to favor the pellets.
Usually I'd say sorry the the misfortune, but this incident sounds almost cool. Scary, yes, but I definitely regret that it wasn't caught on film. I would have loved to see Max in action.
Regardless, I'm glad no serious damage was done to either fish, and I hope these two are more respectful of one another from now on.

My Pacu is the same way. He used to love shrimp and tilapia but all he eats now is NLS pellets.
