I have two tracking numbers from UPS right now. They should be here Monday. I suspect that will be a cool hold over for you guys for a bit.Update?
Also, the weather is warming up. I'm gonna get to work on this again soon. To be honest, between the weather and my five week old son who refuses to sleep, my motivation has suffered somewhat.
Great looking build so far. The first thing I learned (ie, the thing I plan to steal blatantly) is making the sides shorter than the width of the bottom so you could add the 2x4 ribbing supports and have them screwed in from the bottom.
For those who have built similar tanks, is the 2x4 ribbing needed ? Is it needed every foot or would it be sufficient to have them every 2 feet or just one in the middle or????
Not criticizing mind you, just trying to learn and understand what is underengineered, what is properly engineered and what is overengineered before I start putting screws to wood.

For tanks of this size, if you fiberglass it thoroughly you shouldn't need the 2x4 ribbing. I added it to my tank because it will need to be portable and I'm overbuilding it. There's quite a few guys on here that have tanks in the same size bracket as mine who don't have any ribbing and who have had their tanks up and running for quite some time now.Great looking build so far.
