510 gallons, 8 x 4 x 2.5 feet plywood and fiberglass

Well I said I ran out of screws, so I bought more! Here's another ten pounds of screws to finish out the framing when I get a chance to get back into the tank. Literally (lol). I'm stuck at work tonight so hopefully I'll have some more framing done tomorrow which will allow me to start moving on to the fiberglass!
I also bought sixteen of my ten inch lags. I'll have to wait awhile to do the lags from the top of the uprights, but I figure I can go ahead and do the lags on the bottom.
After doing some serious pondering, I've decided that I'm going to add another round of 2x4s around the opening for the window. After I'm done with the fiberglass, I suspect that I'll only have about an inch all around for the glass to rest against and on which to silicone the glass to the fiberglass. That makes me nervous. With the extra layer of 2x4s, there should be about two and a half inches all around which will be much more conducive to my peace of mind. I'll still have a nice, 24" viewing window, too.
Running total for the tank: $350.

Got some work done tonight, though not as much as I'd have liked. My baby boy was being fussy and his mama was tired so Dad had to step in and keep an eye on his buddy! Because of this, I was only able to get about an hour's worth of work in on the tank. I managed to get all the uprights in place and screwed in tonight.
The next step for me will be to reenforce the window opening. After thinking it over, I've decided that I want more area in contact with the window for silicone adhesion and because it seems like it would make the wood easier to fiberglass.

The filter is gonna be a Wlim bioglass 16". Details beyond that such as pump and UV are still being worked out.
Not really. Its been really, really cold the past few days and today we've had a blizzard. My porch may be enclosed but its still cold! lol
The night before last I tried to do some work on the tank. I put in a few lag bolts and then said f this, its too cold lol
Once the weather breaks I'll get back to work and post a proper update.
