I just read that there is another Hydrolycus , the wallacei !
Do you know it ?, i will try to add it to the poster

i made another mistake, Macrochirichthys macrochirus it's not a characin
I know wallacei. They look rather like a scomb but they have big scales. They are completely absent from the hobby. I have access to a few pictures from scientific publications, but I'm not sure what legal ramifications you using them would have.

In my computer I don't see a white line at the tail and anal fin. oh well. i'm getting a new computer anyways. lol It looked like a tat because of the bluish sheen that large tats sometimes have and the obvious red tail.

There are some arguments that say hoplias macro and aimara are actually the same fish.

haha i feel bad for rambling about these characins. i assume you didn't face this much critique on your other posters. ;D

The Brycon hilarii and the salminus hilarii are the same fish ??
