If it isn't eating frozen then I would try to get it to eat frozen food and then start stuffing the frozen food with whatever pellets you want to feed it. I could never get mine to eat frozen so I eventually just sold them back to the lfs. Too expensive to feed live 24/7 365 days a year.

it's definitely possible to do it. People have different experiences with their payaras. Do they eat fish fillet right now? If not, I would train it to eat that first. I could get my armatus on pellets but many people have.

You can starve it for 1 weeks or more with no problem. make sure you feed it first.

No hes on live only and i have hem for a weeck now and still dont eat noting i just give some gold fish and i will gona starve hem other weeck and will see

Do not feed your carnivores gold fish! They contain thiaminase (sp?), and that stunts your fishs growth! Give him live earthworms

A week is no where near long enough for that fish. You're going to have to go a bare minimum of two weeks, likely 3-4 to get it eating non-live.
