Just picked up a great big pothos today! This will give us something to do during the Nor'easter that's about to slam north NJ. Apparently, it hasn't snowed enough... The plan is to rinse, rinse, rinse (not in the bathtub :p) Then put them into mini baskets, hung with a zip tie from stainless steel eye hooks along the top of the 3d backround. How's that sound? uploadfromtaptalk1392266902519.jpg

Here is my ray tank with pothos. All of the roots in the tank are from the plants. I just stuck some stems (cuttings) through slits in the tank lids and the plants did the rest. They been in there for several years now.

I was thinking about doing the same thing but thought it was going to be difficult working in the tank.
Is it?
How big is your tank?

My tank is 6' x 3'. The roots don't seem to make it difficult working in the tank, although the only work I do in the tank is siphon the gravel when I do water changes.
The only drawback of having all the roots in the tank is often little pieces of root die and break off, eventually ending up in the sump.

Very nice!

Anybody have any problems getthing arrowheads or pothos from walmart in the middle of winter?
Not sure about arrows as they are far less effective @ nitrate removal! Hardware stores always have pothos! Give Walmart a call! Go with pothos
