ok, he was still reported in the news as a BOXING manager...like I said ,I understand you like to argue with me ..you seem to enjoy it ...and it certainly doesn't bother me (sharpening the skill)...btw PANAMA LEWIS was a nobody until the cocaine scandal so, there goes that argument ,he got famous for being a cheater

I remember Lewis and his water bottle but forgot who he cornered for and I forgot about the loaded gloves.

AARON PRYOR was his first big gig, my contention is that a scandal that hurts boxing (and he did) doesn't have to be about a star athlete...maybe I misread EDDIES post but it sure seemed to me like he was saying that MAYFIELD'S manager is a "nobody" so that doesn't effect the sport .. my COUNTERPOINT was that so was PANAMA LEWIS...cheating in the PRYOR/ ARGUELLO fight MADE him famous.. so as usual EDDIE HELPED MY CONTENTION... he is good at that
nothing personal EDDIE ,just pointing out the way it wentSo back to Panama Lewis...I said earlier that I didn't remember all of his exploits so I looked him up.He's been banned for life from professional boxing since the eighties but I came across another item with him supposedly hanging around Zab Judah's camp while he was preparing to fight Amir Khan.I couldn't find anything else on that and was wondering if those rumors were true,what was done about it if true,and who won the fight lol?
I don't follow it close enough any more to know ,but hbo Did a story on LEWIS not too long ago,he is a first rate skunk..if it's true about the PRYOR FIGHT,think about how PRYOR ended up(homeless crackhead), wonder if LEWIS started him up in that fight ,not likely BUT possible
