he is supper cool and very social. I got him free with a 90 gal I purchased. he quickly outgrew that and now is in a 6x2x2 that is in the works to be doubled in size over the winter after we move into our new house .

I wonder if that was one of the aor's I sold when Pet Pourri was still open. As far as I know, we were the only LFS in Washington carrying them at the time.

Very nice cat. One of my all time favorites!

Yessir, that's the one! Worked there for the last two years it was open. I've got nothing but fond memories of that place, made many lifelong friends during my stay.

Awesome store, been there many times. I grew up in Everett so that was one of my main stops.

I hear ya. It was my "go-to" LFS since age 11 when my dad introduced me to the world of ichthyology. I was extremely sad to see it get shut down. Not only due to the fact that it left me unemployed, but there wasn't (and still isn't) any stores in Western Washington with even a comparable amount of "monster" fish. I think that's one of the biggest factors that led to our closing; bringing in high end stock of often times extremely large and predatory fish, that would sit for months on end before being bought. The market for monsters is pretty limited in the Puget Sound area. Now if we had set up shop in, oh I don't know, lets say SoCal, the business would have likely thrived.

Yea man loved that place, my house at the time was on 41st and Rucker, right where it turned into Evergreen way. I'm down in Olympia for the most part these days. Nothing like that store round these parts.

I remember taking the bus there, picking up fish and taking a bus home haha!
