Even if he doesn't buy a 180 now they'll eventually end up in one when he switches his stock aroundI would just focus on getting 180gal instead of 100gal regardless of how good deal it is.

I don't know why you're still so focus on 100gal. Montelboom already pointed out what you've seemed to have missed from my earlier post: 100gal PLUSEven if he doesn't buy a 180 now they'll eventually end up in one when he switches his stock around

Crappie, yellow perch, and bullheads......and white perch if I can get one up here in NHI think its a good plan, what were you thinking about putting in the tank when you get everything set up?

Once the smb grows out of it, the 100gal when go to the bettaI would just focus on 180gal and pass on 100gal deals. It doesn't makes any sense to buy a 100gal since it is not a final home for a smallmouth bass.
I know! Just wanted to share a father and son moment and you have the know-it-alls spewing their BS, unasked for wisdom.....I may have only joined MFK a year ago but I'm not a noob....this thread derailed so hard hahaha.
LOL yea, those fish gotta keep on coming to hold their wee attention span. I take an old 5gal plastic aquarium with us when we go fishing and will hold some of the fish in there for a little while before releasing back.I tired this year and it held there interest for about 30 seconds.
