Yup, that's exactly what I thought of...sound proof for studios and home theaters.

The only thing I like more than aquarium photo's is setup photos. Maybe I am just crazy. Lets see your sumps canisters timers air pumps and whatever else you got going on in your stand or setup that makes your aquarium as cool as it is. I will start This tank is a 55 gallon with a poly bichir

I know there are some sweet cleaner setups out there I want to see them

The picture on the top is not a DIY sump. It is part of my automated water change system. You turn the knob, water goes into the bin, you flick a switch (middle two photos) on the switch box to activate the pump. Pump water out of the tank until it reaches the painted mark. Turn the pump off and add chemicals to water. Flip both levers and turn the pump back on until all water from the bin is in the tank. Middle two photos are of the switch box (It's hard to take a photo of metal without a glare). The box just controls power to Filters, Lights, Heaters, etc... The last photo is of my two Eheim 2217's and my tetra AP300 air pump. If you look carefully we also have dimmers that my father and I will later install to control light brightness.

Saw some pics of your fish room in some other posts as well. Your pvc looks great! I really like it painted, very clean look. Do you paint and then glue or paint it in place?

This is my view of 'whats in your stand'. Works very well and tank is spotless and water quality excellent. Just need to figure out an easier way to do a water change than pipes, drums and water all over.
