Tanks and fish look great. Very nice scape. Are you happy with the results from the tea and the peat?
Thanks I'm satisfied, but I wish I knew how long the peat and tea last with weekly water changes

I change it out when I see the water losing its stain after a WC. Usually every three weeks to a month.

Looking good. thinking about atabapo 1. hahaha how many of these do you have?
Be careful if you plan on mixing them with your cincta. Could be trouble. If it's in a different tank, go for it!!!!

Cincta are one of the most robust crenicichla. I wouldn't risk other pikes in with them. Get larger laterally compressed tankmatez. I keep mine with large severums, hoplarchus, and oscars.

crenicichla444 crenicichla444 Here you go bro, I love these guys. Two of them started showing signs of hith which has cleared up with a couple treatments of tetra parasite guard and softening my water. One of them still has a little bit of scarring from it, but seems to be going away more and more everyday. I'm debating on if I should treat one more time with parasite guard but at this point it might just be a waste of time. Oh and I still haven't added any tankmates.

They look freaking awesome man. I really wished I picked up a group but I was a bit tight on money at the time. I barely notice any scarring at all on yours. They look very nice. Keep up the clean soft water and they'll blossom for ya. How big are they now?

Tankmates? Hmm small hujeta gar, Tiger sds or any small sds, Med small Angel fish, maybe a baby fire eel ;)

Thanks man, I'm glad I bought them. They're 5-5.5 inches, I don't want to get sds because they would destroy the plants. I was thinking a juruense cat, some azuls or some wc severums or maybe some panda uaru. I do like the fire eel idea though
