Yes, Jeff Rapps has had them 2.5"-3" $35. Good price imho, not cheap, not expensive. Snookn21's were $50 at 3"+ a couple months ago.

Thx moe. Its ultimately up to my son. I just dont like fish that hide. Probably surprise him with the jag if they are still a a available in a few months, trying to convince him to go for a vulture cat and drop clown loaches from the tank we were talking about in the poly section

That'd be a cool addition, for cats you'd probably want to look at ones that grow 1-1.5' you might get away with 2' depending on personality and body build, but never underestimate a cat. I plan on keeping my bichirs with cats lol but they only grow to a 1'(the cats) and it'll take a long while till they get their. If you can, maybe a bolt cat would be of interest. Like a smaller vulture lol. If clown ,loaches didn't grow so slow, you'd probably be able to keep them with some cats. I think a jag can be kept with them, both have slow growth rate, and clowns grow bigger in the lead post a thread so people can throw out options for you. Ornate pims are nice cats and are supposed to be outgoing but people recommend keeping them in a group I believe, like a larger pictus cat lol.

Yeah bolts could work very nice. So you think the vulture may get too large ?

You will only see it once every three months. And that is if you are up at 3 AM. Only a Uraniscopis is more illusive.

Well I decided to try one again, less bio load on the tank with the silver dollars out and some other fish. This one has almost twice as much girth I'd say, maybe more, and is maybe 1.5-2" longer. Hopefully he does good. Today's usually my wc day, but I figured I'd do one tomorrow and let him settle some today. Don't wanna stress him out to much.
