What about a 300 gallon pond? I think dimensions matter more than gallons. 5 feet of width is better than 12" or 18".
I had two in a 500 gallon tank. Way to small for them mine were bigger than basketballs...No joke. A 300 gallon anything is small.

I would say a minimum of 300 gallon as a grow out and a 1000 gallon as a min to keep them forever.

So.......would u say to house 1 in a 300 gallon stock tank (obviously not forever) is too small?

He's also abkut 7-9 in and about 14 months old. Maybe closer to 16 months (i have to check my IG picture of when i first posted him).

I've now read in another one of your threads you had it in a 29 gallon for the first 6 months then a 55 gallon...well that explains that
