James, what comes to mind is the wisdom of compromise. You want your parents to appease you, then you must do the same. Promise to get only good grades, clean the house as long as you live with your parents, do the dishes, laundry, you know, the stuff that works sweet on any given mother true to her senses...

###########################################

In total length, vultures get to ~24" my impression is, no 1st hand experience sadly yet.
Graduated college last year and working full time dont know what else she could ask for! Just need a hobby that I enjoy for when I come home to relax

Ok. Sounds better already :) Scratch the grade thing but everything else holds :) Be creative, wash her car, vouch to conduct house repairs, mow the lawn, take them out for a weekly dinner, paint your parents' portrait in oil on canvas, whatever you are good at ;)

Just rooting for yah, is all...

Ill design them a new landscape since I do that for a living lol. Plus the tank is next to her car in the garage right now and dwarfs it. Just thinking only a little bit longer at home and ill have enough for a place of my own... (one giant aquarium). But thanks for the support! could have used you guys to get that thing into my truck

I'll assume you're married with children by those statements :)

Pics!-) could grow an awesome northern pike out then release it when you move, or a bass? Perch....
Unfortunately in the UK we have no native bass.

That's not true, I don't think.....pretty sure Striped bass from the Atlantic frequent the British Isles, but I could be wrong

Its a little crusty but I could get that thing sparkling in no time, believe the leak was on one of the corners since the little bit of remaining water did not leak through. The tank itself is decked out with wood trim all over even under the bottom glass is a sheet of wood. Wood panels siliconed to the sides. Cabinet needs some love and a good dusting plus some wood polish to clean it up. Inside the tank needs to have remaing bits of gravel and water removed, crust on upper acrylic ledges needs to be removed, silicone once holding 3D background also needs to be removed when it comes time to reseal. The top panel covers look to be ok only 2 of them are a little dinged up on the corners but not much I can do for that. Nice that the glass was cut out in the back for easy access for filtration since tank is not drilled. Filtration will be my next adventure figuring out how the hell to DIY everything for that

If it's got an open back, like it looks in the pic, see if it's got a wide enough space for a 55 gal sump. It looks like it would work if you install it before the tank is put on top.
