just a few seconds. enough where I can see that the iodiine is "soaking"/covering' the wound.How.long do you hold the swab over the wound for ?
lol ooze is the technical term. Is Megan Fox in that one? Her radioactive deformity is her toe thumb.Depends on what the ooze is. Thought of "ninja turtles 3, secret of the ooze" as soon as I saw that. Lol!
Will show another pic cause I don't know what I'm talking about...
Thank you for your help! I a few questions about the procedure of this:I can't say for sure if it's TB. If OP uses Sulfa and Kanaplex in tank water, and a daily betadine swab, I'm hoping that will knock it out permanently.
He's been a little less active today....might have had him out of the water too long yesterday. Should I let him rest or swab again? He was super active when I did a 60% water change a few days ago.
For the betadine swab:
I've been diluting detadine. Solution is still dark brown though. Is this diluted enough?
Been holding a Qtip on each wound for about 3-4 seconds until it is covered with iodine.
He might be out of the water for 1-2 mins depending on how squirmy he is. I'd like to get this number down.
For the Triple sulfa and kanaplex:
Ammonia was reading 4ppm when I was doing a 25% WC every other day when I finished the first treatment of triple sulfa. pH of the tank is typically 7.6. Little worried about ammonia being over zero if I'm not doing WCs. How do I go about keeping the water clean/ammonia free with the meds still in the tank? continue doing 50%wc every day? or follow wc listed on boxes?
