On a more serious note I tried triggerifsh for the first time and it was quite delicious. the locals described it as a whitefish/crab/lobster combo type flavor and texture. They weren't too far off. I'll tell you what though, those large triggers can take your finger off!

Interesting, I didn't think anyone really eats triggerfish. First I've heard of this.

Monkfish. Found in my neck of the woods. Had it once at a restaurant.......fantastic. Its considered the poor mans' lobster

Fat triggers!

Monkfish! I saw one at pike place market years ago and flipped when they told me it tastes great. All these years later and it's actually true!

FYI when I had the monkfish at the restaurant, I had no idea what it looked like. ...just went with the waitress' recommendation haha

......meh, I still would of tried, even if they showed me a picture :)
