No I'm not mechanical unfortunately, I mean I hate to go behind their backs but it's gotten to far, I was late getting my license and they've been using my truck since before I got my full, truck had 153 when I bought it and nw it's around 163 and iv put less than 1000 miles on it. The blazer whole front end had to be replaced a few years ago when my step dad had a bit to much fun in the snow, cost them 2500 and it was fixed before I even knew about it. I think since I don't technically NEED my truck since my work can pick me up then it's just not a priority for them to get theirs fixed, I'm also tired of paying insurance fir some thing I barley get to drive.
Not the point it's your truck. Do you pay the insurance on it?

Also kinda suxks for my gfs dad because he helped me find the truck, got me a good deal on it and even loaned me a bit of money so I could pay it off in full, he even took my truck into a shop and had it all looked over and redid all the breaks and didn't ask for any money in return

Basically it's just gotten to far, when my step dad talks about getting a camero then they redid their bathroom and buy stupid **** then it's aparent it's not priority and I'm gonna make it a priority for them to fix the blazer even if I can't have my truck for a bit

Hello; Pull the fuel pump fuse.
On the other hand it is refreshing to read of the tables being turned. Usually it is the child using up a parents car/truck.

An option; are you mechanical? If so fix the parents car yourself. Parts likely much less than the labor on that sort of job.
Hello; Let me modify my suggestion. if you just pull the fuel pump fuse it will be easily seen that it is gone. Get a spare fuse, run too much current thru it so it will blow. Put the blown fuse in. that way even if it is found will not be evidence of what you are up to.

Seems to me with that sort of family dynamic it may be time to move out on your own. Sounds toxic to me. I had a toxic family situation as a teen. I had to insert myself in between when my father was about to hit my mom. I was 17. I lost but he pulled his punches so it was not a real beating. He was an x-marine at 220 pounds to my maybe 150. I did not know of PTSD back then but now suspect that maybe he had to deal with that stuff all his life. He had been on Saipan, Tinian and Iwo Jima during WWII. Anyway his mad spells were short but violent. I got out about a year or so later.

Good luck

I'll prob just tell them it's a throttle body sensor after its been in the "shop" for a few days, idk I'll also talk to my gfs dad about it. I'm waiting to move out until my gf is out of college and bringing in a decent income. Honestly I do live a good life I jut dont agree with my mom and step dads financial decisions. Also sorry to hear about that glad you've made it through

hello; Parents are people with all the possible issues if you look at enough numbers of them. I knew a fellow here in Tennessee who had been in the army and served in the middle east sometime in the 2000's. He had sent much of his pay to his parents so they could bank it for him. Turns out they had an ongoing series of "emergencies" to the point that all his money was gone by the time he was discharged.

As my buddy says; "Some days things go real good and then there's most of the time."
