If you really want to grow out a ray I would avoid aggressive feeders like pictus. They make it hard for young rays to eat. I prefer geos. Tapajo are small and usually easy to find.Wanting to grow out a Ray, need some schooling fish for bottom, I was thinking pictus catfish, but they may get eaten?
Also looking for suggestions for some top water "monster fish, could be schooling or non schooling

I'm the wrong guy to ask regarding catfish. I just know a bit about pictus. Larger rafaels may work too if you can manage to find one.Not really a fan of cichlids, but I may give them a chance.
