Thank you my brother! I just try to do what I can to share my passion with the hobby. It makes me quite happy to see that it's actually appreciated. They are stunners but, but IMO it's your passion that contagious. Man IMHO you single-handedly brought Goonch to the appreciated cat they are. Never mind your contributions to the Characin section among others.
Thank you! I've been out of the Army for three and a half years, and all the VA has bothered to do so far is acknowledge I exist about a year ago. It's... frustrating, especially since I have cancer and could really use their help.Glad to see you back and on a good path! It just disgust me how vets are treated in this country! Not one of you should ever be homeless!!! Back to fish. With the juruense I had, they would perch on fake plants, right under the water surface and eat from my hands. Very cool fish!
My old jur would perch on my hand and was pretty fearless too. She wasn't nearly as pretty as this one, though.
Thanks brother! The only thing missing now for this dream to come true is a couple of the smaller payara species holding down the midwater area and this is gonna be a #goals kinda tank!A jur and a black aro are two dream pick ups, very jealous. Also dig the asoiaf names, I'm a tv pleb though.
Also, since this is a growout thread, here's an obligatory cell phone pic. Raw, unfiltered, under saturated and dramatically overexposed; the only change is a crop to focus on the fish.
