It's a common pleco. I've been told that they're the worst when it comes to slime coat sucking, but my pleco happens to be intimidated by my endli. Whenever he starts swimming, my pleco will dart somewhere away from him. I was considering getting rid of my pleco to accommodate my endli, but there hasn't been any problems yet.nice pick up. What type of pleco? Some are worse than others
How big is the pleco and endli? It's a common pleco. I've been told that they're the worst when it comes to slime coat sucking, but my pleco happens to be intimidated by my endli. I had a 10" common in with a 12" carpo knifefish and the knifefish was an ******* who attacked everything including me if I didn't have a worm for him and after a month he finally let the common share his hide and within days he had white spots on him so as soon as the common isn't scared anymore keep a close eye on them. This doesn't mean all plecos are out of the question I have 5 types(10 total) with my bichirs with no problemIt's a common pleco. Which large growing pleco types are acceptable tank mates for poly's? I wouldn't mind one but I am paranoid of it sucking on my poly's like there is no tomorrow.I had a 10" common in with a 12" carpo knifefish and the knifefish was an ******* who attacked everything including me if I didn't have a worm for him and after a month he finally let the common share his hide and within days he had white spots on him so as soon as the common isn't scared anymore keep a close eye on them. Never seen a L600 available in Australia. But then again I haven't been that into pleco's ever.I had an L600 thst never bothered my polys
As soon as I read the same response, I've been eyeing my pleco and endli at night to make sure my pleco doesn't try to suck on my endli. So far, there haven't been any problems, but my pleco has rested dangerously close to my endli. If there are any plecos you guys know of that can keep up with the growth rates of my endli and juvenile pbass, and will NOT suck on my endli, please let me know.
