Keep the lights off and the water changes going, don't worry about food for a few days, cover the sides and the back and give him a tube to hide in, then leave it alone.

The white is 99% stress colour and not a reason to kill it.

A 100 gallon will be too small for a fire eel for life, a 180 is minimum but bigger is always better

Yeah I got a plan for him don't worry about that and he's only in the little tank so he could get better

Bigger tanks have more stable water, the bigger tank the better always. But if you nee it alone it will be fine in a well established tank as long as the water quality is fine. Daily water changes are a good substitute for perfect water conditions, 25% per day will be good for this I think.

OK and I was gonna put it with tinfoil barbs and some silver dollars and some angels

Keep it all very quiet for now, prefect water, dark and leave it alone. If you are unsure about water quality then test with good quality amooinia, nitrite and nitrate kits (not dip strips) and I am sure it will be fine.

OK I will the plan was to put it in a 33 till it was a foot long then move it over

Personally I would say a foot long needs 100-180 but the bigger the better and they will grow well in the biggest available. Best way to grow a fish is in a big tank, grow outs are a common misconception, a small tank makes a fish grow more slowly and can stunt them and the water fluctuates much more as a small drop of pollution is a lot in a small body of water, the ph, ammonia and temp etc...all change far more in a small body of water.
