Grass are aquaone plastic mats. not all shops sell them and cost about $30 each mat. Also tried the yarn type spawning mops, but they didn't like it. Could be a case by case basis. I would say they are old - 4-5yrs old.
case by case. best to try what works best for them.[/QUOTE
Yes you are correct.
I think you misunderstand me. Anything needs copious amounts of fat and protein to grow, this goes for fish, humans, and bacteria. This is why eggs and seeds are stuffed with these things. Proteins and fat however are extremely broad terms, and include very different smaller groups of organic compounds. Some will inhibit your fish's growth, some will boost it, and some will supplement the others by working in synergy. And that's where it all lies, with the synergy.Very cool stuff guys! Mighty Wizard when fish are small the most critical component is giving them enough food to keep their bellies full and enough proteins and fats to keep growing. Variety only keys in a bit later, if you don't feed enough to small fish they will stunt at a smaller size.
Good points. Need to discuss this with my professor friend at some point.I think you misunderstand me. See I'm not proposing that anyone feed their fry oatmeal or some such. Only that it might be a good idea to source the necessary nutrients from as wide a pool as possible, while avoiding obvious no-nos like beef heart.
Thank you, but no I'm just a stoner with Asberger really. I always wanted to be an academic, but ended up as a welder. Good money though. And there's still time I suppose, I'm still in my twenties.Good points. Need to discuss this with my professor friend at some point.
I'm liking the clarity you have, do you have any qualifications in biology or such?
Haha. I'm a highschool student with too much time. Did you see the other prof thread?Thank you, but no I'm just a stoner with Asberger really. I always wanted to be an academic, but ended up as a welder. Good money though. And there's still time I suppose, I'm still in my twenties.
And yes it would be fun to hear what your Professor says, he sounds like a very interesting fella.
