I am not sure what you are saying, situational awareness.

I will try and post the link that has the video footage but all I was saying was to try and be aware of what is going on around you and be able to notice and avoid potential signs of danger when you are out and about.
The incident that I mentioned took place after dark when the thugs and two legged predators are most active and upon pulling up and seeing those jokers I certainly would have been on alert.

Been getting an IRS scam on the phone saying I need to call them or they will arrest me.
Hello; Yes that likely is a scam. Last week got a call from a fellow with a heavy accent. At first he said he was from Dish TV. I told him I was on Direct TV and all of a sudden he was from them. He fished for information for a while and I eventually told him I was not going to give out any. He threatened to cut off my service for a week. I hung up.

I called Direct TV to report someone trying a scam using their name. Apparently they have had such reports already.

I guess they must get some folks to go along with the scam. My guess is they try to get important personal information.

A while back another fellow with a similar accent tried to talk me into giving him remote access to my computer using the ruse he was from Microsoft technical support and my computer is infected. I played along a bit to see what he wanted but hung up.
The interesting thing is he called a guy I know with the same story about how he knew for sure the guy's computer is infected. Thing is the guy does not have a computer.

I was just wondering if that had happened in this country or not.I probably would have heard about it before now if it had.
I know just what you mean about the inmates talking about their cases and I feel the same way pretty much.
There was a recent incident that really got to me that was reported about on the news invloving a pizza delivery person.....per the video footage, this guy made a delivery at a gas station and as he was leaving and returning to his car about four lowlifes approached him.One of them slinks up behind him just as he is about to get into his car and smacked him on the back of his head with what looked like a pistol, knocking him out cold. The delivery guy droped to the ground like a sack of concrete and nearly face first and after that the lowlifes search his pockets for his money and then they drove off in the guy's car.I felt such anger at those thugs and I fear that had I been there to witness what went down that area would have been littered with those four bodies and I would have been on my way to jail.
Smh....savages man. These are the types i enjoy getting my hands on. Just rob the guy if thats what ur intent is. Man a long time ago before i started working the the yard i was in the housing areas we had this one guy who never started trouble, nice as can be. Turns out he did something i wouldnt even type. The morning that the story broke in the papers my capt calls me and takes me off my post and has this guy transferred....i was soooo pissed. The 1st thing she said to me was "i just saved your job, so dont start with me"

always going to be nutso,s there is no explanation for there actions, they are just fubard in the head.
Idk man i would love to believe that they are just sick in the head but i cant. DR will slap some fancy description on them to describe this behavor but i dont buy it, i could never wrap my head around the things we do. It bugs me out how someone could function in society, wake up brush there teeth, kisss there kds before school, go to work all while (example) driving around with body parts in they're trunk.

He means basically to never let your gaurd down. Idk if its because of the job or what but i never enjoy myself when im out with the family in public places. Head is always on a swivel looking for the wolf in sheeps clothing it kind of sucks but nothing i do can change it.

Hello; A price of being aware in the real world. Reduces the odds someone in your family will get caught by these predators.
Giving up some of your joy for the protection of your family. Good for you.

Hello; Around here the lowlifes sit in their cars at the outer parts of the Wal-Mart parking lots. They watch us prey to see if we lock our cars.
Had a buddy who failed to lock up one day and happened to come back quickly. He confronted a guy who had just pulled a satellite radio from his car. The guy had been sitting in his car a few places away.

Here is what I do. I take a look around as I pick a parking spot. Pick a spot away from other cars that have someone sitting in them.
I do not use the remote to lock the doors. I use the button on the car door. Remotes send out a code that can be copied and the thief can use this to open the door.
I take a good look around when I get out and make eye contact with folks sitting in a car.
I sometimes make a show of pulling on the door latch even when I know the car is locked.

I profile the cars and the folks sitting in them. Around here it is a scruffy greasy haired white guy with tattoos and a cigarette I look for. Often has no shirt on in the summer. If I see one who sets off my inner alarm I will walk toward the store and get a good distance away. I then walk back to my car. Figure this and the eye contact might throw him/her off game a bit.

Hello; Yes that likely is a scam.
Yea, they pulled this on me a year ago. Weeks later it was on the news. They said the IRS will never call someone on the phone.

Plus they called me again yesterday(twice in 2 days) with the same message. I guess they gave me an extension.

Both me and my wife have gotten this call. We just hang up.
