Had a buddy who failed to lock up one day and happened to come back quickly. He confronted a guy who had just pulled a satellite radio from his car. The guy had been sitting in his car a few places away.

Here is what I do. I take a look around as I pick a parking spot. Pick a spot away from other cars that have someone sitting in them.
I do not use the remote to lock the doors. I use the button on the car door. Remotes send out a code that can be copied and the thief can use this to open the door.
I take a good look around when I get out and make eye contact with folks sitting in a car.
I sometimes make a show of pulling on the door latch even when I know the car is locked.

I profile the cars and the folks sitting in them. Around here it is a scruffy greasy haired white guy with tattoos and a cigarette I look for. Often has no shirt on in the summer. If I see one who sets off my inner alarm I will walk toward the store and get a good distance away. I then walk back to my car. Figure this and the eye contact might throw him/her off game a bit.

Its wierd but not that i agree with stealing someones car or any ither type of theft but i can see the point or the outcome....personal gain. I cant wrap my head around serial killer and the like. I question the whole insanity thing

Hello; Yes especially large white trucks. I saw one empty headed news guy saying the terrorists did not have a weapon, but turned a tool into a weapon. They just cannot get it into their minds that all inanimate objects are the tools and it is the folks who use them who turn them into weapons.
There is good and bad with this attack. The good is the guy is still alive and can be questioned so just maybe a bit will be known about his planning, connections and who may have helped him. My guess is this guy will turn out to have acted on his own and little will be learned.
Who was it that has been trying to keep these radical killers out of our country?? Never mind it will come to me.
The bad is the guy is still alive and is getting medical care at taxpayers expense. Will be housed and fed at taxpayer expense and so on. I will stop now before I say too much.

We don't agree on everything. But we sure agree on this. Well said sir.
I hope they can use whatever available techniques to extract necessary information and ensure there is no continued threat from his immediate network.

I hear this year there is a threat of thc laced candy being given out. As an expert in sweets, I'd happily look through your stash, and weed out anything unsavory.

No one came by tonight.I bought a few bags of the mini candy bars that I am now stuck with.It is a little chilly out.

Ha!!! It's didn't come through to well on my phone, I see it now!
It's 6:40pm here now, and there are tons of kids out, I don't have enough candy!!! Gonna shut out all the lights soon.
