300 gallon poly tank

Idk in the past hes always been a jerk towards her. When they shared the 150 he chased her relentlessly. I kind of think its his age showing. He chased her a bit on the 300 but for the past few weeks hes been easy on her. Even eating pellets with her. I think its like @DMD123 said a long time ago that they calm down as they grow. Plenty of times the fish would piss me off to no end and dmd qould defend him lol telling me to be patient

lol, what you believed that? Pearsi never calm down, they are pure eating machines and are totally evil.

They really do settle down with age.

Well i absolutely prefer the new laid back hulk. I dont miss his temper tantrums. He was either destroying the tank, fighting with tankmates, or getting his ass kicked when biting off more than he can chew.

Been having some issues with sp.candy shes taking a liking to the dw on the left side of the tank. The teug originally set up shop here and was getting nippy. But candy pushed her out. I moved things around a tad to try and make something comfy for the cats but not attractive to the polys.

Candy! Don’t **** things up for the rest of the crew. Hope it helps, she’s maybe my favorite of yours.

Haha i know right !!!

Out of all the polys ive kept ever single one of them at some point has shown aggression, most of the time its minor like a nip at the "air" (what candy is doing) a few were actually aggressive and a problem like endli dabola and ornate.

BUT my 2 congicus and koloton have never ever done anything. Those 3 are model citizens

Pile behind the log. Are those three hanging out frequently? Candy is getting sassy! Don’t pull a sp. Delaware.

That’s amazing from the congis. :p it’s funny cause you would think the biggest polys would be the most dominant....but they have been angels. +1 for congis .

Here's the spiny eel and the dwarf pike. :) Oh and the betta shows up, too. Spiny eel is looking for his own food... the other two want me to give them theirs. Ha

Don’t know if I all ready commented on your tank, but i LOVE your spiny eel. He’s so squirmy. Does he have a name? Hear they can be finicky with water quality, but shouldn’t be a problem for your level of care. Great setup and of course, it’s wonderful to see another magpie planted aquascape. :)
