The Nigerian may have a new home soon.... a buddy of mine has asked about him. That would get me down to five polys so not as crowded looking.

Also looks like I will be adding two oscars to the 300g. The wild Oscar I call #2 and a Red Oscar I bought for a peacekeeper. These two seem to get along very well and look like they might work great in the community. Feel like I should grow out a couple upper jaws with the O's just to get them used to the fish but they are growing so fast I should be able to get them in the big tank by the end of the summer.

Boooooooo keep the lap !!!!
Unlike button hahahaba
I feel like the tank is just too full of polys. I really want to get the number down to three and continue to try and get size on them. Problem is I cant decide who to get rid of. So for now keeping five is my compromise. Though I could rehome the koliba and not have regrets which would bring me down to four polys. But these ones really all are keepers.

Lately Ive increased feedings on the polys and wow they can eat. I am not seeing any fatness in them (girth) and they still have the lean look that I like. I think I might get a growth spurt out of them soon.

By then I will likely want a real PBB and not my poor mans Nigerian lap ;)

Like I had said the Nigerian lap was such an impulse buy. Its not like it was anything special at the time, just was odd to see a local store even have a poly. I think going down to the 5 polys will make some room for growth and ease up on the bio-load a little to make room for the two future bruisers.

Overall Im super happy with the polys I have but here is my list of what I wish were different.
1. Wish the endli was not so mean
2. Love the Faranah lap, just wish it grew faster
3. Wish the Koliba was more an olive green instead of the blah color
4. Wish I had bought a big ansorgii from the get go instead of growing mine out (so painfully slow),
5. Wish the weeksii were bigger and faster growing.
