What do you do when you hate your neighbors

So the home owner who feels she can do away with the HOA (person just moved in btw) just started building a fence lmao this should be fun.
Btw so the rules say she is supposed to submit it for approval just to have someone come out and make sure she staked iit correctly so that one she doesn't encroach on her neighbors property and two she doesnt damage his property during construction..... All things she knew about when signing the papers.

Yeah me personally I could care less what she does but she's part of the different life style crowd that bad mouthing the wife. Wife's getting pissed at me for wanting to do something about it
Honestly HOA's are good if you can avoid those strict ones. I'm gonna take a picture of something later and it will explain better.
I get people not wanting someone to tell them something about their property but that's why they have the choice to not buy in an HOA.
What I do like is say my neighbors are having crazy "different lifestyle" parties at all hrs of the night, or his dog is crapping on my lawn, or he's draining his pool into my yard (still can't believe that one) or like any of the issues thats been mentioned in this thread....... They get a letter saying to fix the issue.... If they don't they eventually get fined.... Instead of me having to have a conversation that could end up badly
What's the fun in that? I kind of like the back and forth. I use to shovel my neighbors dog crap back into his yard while he cut grass. What are you doing?! We already had this talk...I'm just returning your property
Its got to be your area. There's pretty much a don't thread on me mentality here. I think HOA's (my opinion) draw that kind of crowd. Your handcuffed on what you can do and theres a bunch of processes to get someone to stop something. What I've found is that neighborhoods with people that want to do their own rules runs smoother. The community handles problems.
If something goes down in my "hood" several of us walk over there and have a talk.
That's kind of what we were doing until the old lawyer moved in.
Love my friend did the same thing with returning his neighbors property except he put it in a bag on dropped it on his door step
