And he’s in his new Home and patrolling everywhere!!! Had to pull the trigger and get him in. Please ignore the cloudiness as it should clear up.
We will see. He has always eaten a ton and I haven’t fed him in like 1.5 weeks. There is a lot more flow in this tank now. Probably like 4,000-5,000 gph versus only like 1,000 before. I could see the current pushing him in some places so he’s going to get a lot more exercise. Do think I need to get a large piece of driftwood so he has some rest spots or places so lurk at times.
So this guy is back to eating and being active. He definitely likes being in a bigger tank. I can see that the sore on his chin from the 40g is healing. He did lose a scale during the move which I’m surprised how large his scales are. Hopefully it grows back.
Lol it’s barren now. I want to add some floating plants to help with historic algae issues, and I’m looking at fake driftwood that won’t scratch the acrylic bottom. In ~1-2 months I’ll start pulling out that media that’s sitting right in the tank.
Just ordered this gorgeous piece of wood. Get it this weekend and will get it into the tank.
