Love jumpers, I sometimes try to feed them, back in missouri I used to throw grasshoppers in a orb weaver spider web

.....are they related to the tarantulas? They bear such a strong resemblance.

Every now and then I'll notice a tiny jumping spider patrolling about.I always like watching them because they remind me of tiny tarantulas.

Got these guys here, Banana spiders. They make huge, sticky yellow webs that can easily exceed 10 ft

Oh okay....and around here we only see one particular spider that is referred to as the garden spider.

huntsmen are in the Sparassidae family, we know this family as wolf spyders here on the west coast.
