Mahseer, Tor, and Neolissochilus at Fish Story

Came from Wes' personal collection downsizing in Aug 2015 at about a foot. Nowadays, about 2', a bit short probably, after 3.5 years with us. Kind of the less distinctive, obscure, generic-looking mahseer. Never tried to verify the ID, just trusted Wes.

Can't see it too well in the rehoming video but I thought I gotta start a thread on it somehow sometime... It has gone from the 4500 gal to the 25,000 gal carp exhibit:

 
Update after 1.5 years.

When they were still in the 240 gal featured above, another one lost one eye. I think this is because of the 18 LSN tank mates with their thin and extremely sharp pectoral fins. LSN freak out too sometimes... Swimming 24/7 in a tight space around 36 needles is bound to lead to an impalement sooner or later...

So the two pirate putitora and one still two-eyed were moved to another 240 gal where they spent about a year.

Fast forward to today, the three tors are about 1.5' and received a 100x upgrade to a 25,000 gal cyprinid exhibit:

 
Update after 1.5+ years.

I don't think it grew any. Nothing significant anyway. The progenious along with all other mahseers and cyprinids got upgraded to a 25,000 gal exhibit:

 
Update after a year. The pirate Tor khudree malabaricus has gotten an upgrade to 25,000 gal to a cyprinid exhibit. I doubt it grew to any significant degree.

 
Been a year. The khudree got upgraded to a 25,000 gal. I don't think I noticed it grow in length but I see them everyday...

Another year later. Nothing's changed much except it is probably around 1.5' (slo-o-ow) and got upgraded to a 25,000 gal:

AFAIK the location - the malabaricus is of course from southern India. But Jibran @headbanger_jib has written of some discernible differences before between an khudree and an khudree malabaricus.
