I say spring for the shipping, well worth it to get such great specimens as these from Jeff Rapps or COTA.

I gave away 12 fry to the same guy that got my extra male. They were from batch one. Batch two was eaten by batch one fry. Goldie ate batch three. This is batch four.

Especially since I just got them in September @2in. Four and half months later, fourth batch of fry. Casper is 6in long now, Goldie is half that from breeding so much I bet.

He is being a total ***. I can't do anything in that tank without him attacking me or just splashing me. Try to upright the waterlettce he flipped over, nope bites my fingures or just splashes water everywhere. He jumped out of the water during the water change today when it was low to try and bite me.........

As for the ich you can use salt with plants. The plants will take a small hit, but should bounce back. I’ve treated multiple planted tanks with salt.
