Is there still nipping or just chasing?

If you added more floating plants or something to dim the overall lighting maybe he'd be less picky about his shady spot?

Cute that those two are buddies. :)

No new damage. But they certainly don’t pile. They all snap at each other whenever they get close.

Dont stress the piling thing. Imo they mostly do it when there are allot of them.

Yeah I’m not. I think I’m going to have to pull the little sen tho. The dels are growing very quickly and the sen is approaching food size. I’m really not looking forward to having to set up another tank (I’m running out of outlets). But what must be done must be done. May just chance substrates in one of the tanks I’m less happy with.

Post some pics of them. I highly doubt the dels would eat the sen. How big of a size difference ? Dont know if it was this thread or another but i posted pics of smaller polys living with larger lower jaws.

Two nights ago I walked in and spooked the sen who darted and was promptly grabbed by the head by the del with the bad attitude. He shook loose after a second but it definitely looked like it fit. May be too long for the del to eat. But I’d say the dels are about twice as big at this point. I’ll get some pics tonight.

Anything is possible but i think your dealing with aggression not predation.

Seeing you and the people who liked it sets my troubled heart at ease. I can’t imagine them eating anything but the smallest of guppies right now, but the dels are growing much faster than the sen. All the same, bloat and ich seem to be gone. 30% wc tomorrow and I’ll continue quick cure at half strength for a few more days at 85 degrees to be sure. I had to feed tonight though, if it were just the one bloated del alone I would have faster him for another day. But with tetra barbs and the other polys after a day of nothing but flakes for the top swimmers, they were getting bitey. Gave them some shredded tilapia tonight. Will see how it goes in the Morning.
