I've a pothos plant with roots submerged in the fish tank and recently it has sprouted new roots..
However, everytime I do water change and as the water level drops, the new roots get exposed and turns brown(dried out)..
They stay exposed for an hour or so until I fill the tank up with water but the roots remain dried out in appearance..
Could it be that the pothos plant is weak? It is a leggy vine but has long roots..
Or is it normal for roots that's been exposed to air?
