I was literally just saying that to someone haha. The second this move claim gets resolved and all the broken stuff gets moved out of the house, a pond or 11x4x2.5 tank is going in. Haven't decided which yetGuess that indoor pond better come quick. Nice pickups!
Do you trust yourself enough to attempt a rectangular pond with a viewing panel installed? I believe it could be a nice inbetween point between pond and tank.Don't disagree. I might have to do both though. There's no power in the back fish room so I still have to fix that first. And I could easily run an extension cord to power a pump for the pond while I fix the rest up. There's also the cost. I could fully set up a 8' round pond for less than $500. The tank will be ~$10k for tank, stand, canopy, sump
Word of advice my friend, do you have an accurate way to measure the humidity? If not then do yourself a favor and get a humidity measure. I had my humidity in the upper 80's for months because I didn't know any better and ended up with upper respiratory bronchitis because of it. Now I have a dehumidifier going keeping the room at 30% humidity or so.I actually don't have a humidity problem anymore now that the house plants are thriving. It's still higher than the rest of the house, but the window doesn't look like it's raining on the inside. And it'll only get better as they grow more
Great advice. And you know while I was writing that comment I thought the same thing. It feels better, but it was probably at 95% before so of course anything would feel better than thatWord of advice my friend, do you have an accurate way to measure the humidity?
