From that pic I have no idea lol. I can say for certain it's not a goonch however!
They look great ??Well, the butterfly and leaf fish seem to be eating what ever I put in , pellets, flake, vibra bites, and krill...
Gotta love the commercial organizations!
The Bichir are all very... lovely... they seem to be getting to know one another, laying on one another...
The afer will be the wild card, the leaf fish will stay in the 40g qt I’d imagine for at least weeks to fatten them up as I’d imagine they are afer bite size and this point ?

Agree with twentyleagues. My wild caught lapradei took a while but it now readily eats hikari carnivore pellets. Not usually. Most will eventually eat pellets.
he was chewing/eating one this morning... I think we’ll get there!Agree with twentyleagues. My wild caught lapradei took a while but it now readily eats hikari carnivore pellets.
They adapt easily. My guess is in the wild they are more of a opportunist then a hunter. Meaning they probably scavenge alot and are more apt to eat less desirable things then some of the fish we try to keep.he was chewing/eating one this morning... I think we’ll get there!
